Ph.D. Marko Prokić is a senior research associate at the Department of Physiology, Insitute for Biological Research „Siniša Stanković“, University of Belgrade. Marko is working in the fields of ecophysiology and ecotoxicology. The main interest of his research is dedicated to the effect of environmental factors on the oxidative status of amphibian species and their ability to adapt to novel environments. He spends most of his free time in the company of six cats.
Ph.D. Tamara Petrović is a research associate at the Department of Physiology, Insitute for Biological Research „Siniša Stanković“, University of Belgrade. Tamara studies how stressful changes in the environment reflect on the physiology of various amphibian species. In her free time, she photographs her cats and creates still life photography.
Ph.D. Maja Ajduković is research associate at Department of Evolutionary biology, Insitute for Biological Research „Siniša Stanković“, University of Belgrade. Maja studies how the endocrine disruptors affect histology of thyroid gland and development of great crested newts. In her free time, she visits mountains caves and canyons since her life is unimaginable without it. Good books and travels are something without her life will be empty.
PhD Tijana Vučić is a research associate at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Biology, and currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Leiden and Naturalis Biodiversity Center. Tijana is mainly studying the evolution of morphology, development, and life history traits, as well as the conservation of amphibians and reptiles in Serbia. She is a fan of newts and fieldwork. During her free time, she is in the forest or garden.
Božana Tošić is a PhD student in biological sciences at the Department of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. She also works as a teaching assistant. Her research field includes the helminth fauna of small rodents from the faunistic and ecological aspects.
She enjoys spending her free time with her cat and travelling.
